The Training Committee provides opportunities for Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Venturing leaders to develop their skills and deliver a better program for the Scouts.

Chris Guay is the Training Chair.

The Training Committee is staffed by:

Training Curricula

Adult Leader Training

The Basic Leader Training Curriculum provides each leader with the training required for their position.

Advanced Leader Training is also available to those leaders who have completed the curriculum for their position.

Youth Leader Training

• TLT—Troop Leadership Training (conducted at the troop level)
• Den Chief Training
• NYLT—National Youth Leadership Training (conducted at the council level)
• NAYLE—National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (conducted at the national level at the Philmont Training Center)
